The way people stop rituals in the magnus archives is so funny because for some of them it’s like “this ritual requires massive distractions and tons of stealth and then we have to blow up the whole building and destroy everything in it”
and then some of them are like “idk throw a guy in there see what happens”
This is hilarious to me because I always think of the complexity in the opposite way like sometimes it’s “this guy is touched with the opposing power to the ritual, so if we use him as a sacrifice, the mystic forces might cancel out”
And sometimes it’s like “can’t end the world if you’re blown up. Where’s my C4?”
